THE GOOD HAWK by JOSEPH ELLIOTT

*2021 Audie Winner & a Winner of an AudioFile Earphones Award

“The first in a trilogy, this tale set in mythic Scotland features two engaging characters brought to life through Fiona Hardingham’s and Gary Furlong’s alternating narrations. Hardingham is masterful at sharing Agatha’s worldview with listeners; a brave, fierce Hawk, she is proud of her job patrolling the walls of her island home. However, some say she’s given the work to occupy her due to her Down syndrome-like disability. Ultimately, the unlikely heroes Agatha and Jaime embark on a perilous journey to save their people. The narrators give the characters wonderful Scottish inflections and skillfully build suspense while developing this duo into unique new heroes whom listeners will want to hear succeed. J.C.G. AND I DARKEN, by KIERSTEN WHITE

*Award-winning AudioFile Earphone Award, 2016.

"Fiona Hardingham's commanding narration steers a clear path through this densely woven tapestry of mid-fifteenth-century intrigue, rife with conspiracy, assassination, and the varied courses of love and loyalty. With measured pacing and a somber tone, Hardingham unfolds White's sweeping tale of Lada, daughter of the infamous Vlad Dracul, and her younger brother, Radu, who are given as hostages to the Ottoman Empire, where their lives become inextricably linked to the sultan's ambitious son, Mehmed. Hardingham's resonant voice keeps listeners firmly grounded as a strange and destructive triangle of friendship and love develops, with forays into murder, lust, and homosexuality. S.G. The Scorpio Races, by New York Times Bestseller Maggie Stiefvater

*ALA Odyssey Award honor and listed in the YALSA 'Most Amazing Audiobooks' list.

"Told from the points of view of 19-year-old Sean (Steve West) and the younger Puck (Fiona Hardingham), the narration is a seamless blend of Sean’s rough edge and Puck’s courage. Listeners will find themselves with a deep and lasting sense of the island and of Sean and Puck’s complicated relationship." - Audiofile Magazine

THE FAIR FIGHT, BY ANNA FREEMAN

"This is a story of female pugilists, bloodshed, brutal poverty, and monied ruthlessness in 1790s Bristol. Fiona Hardingham uses a broad accent to portray Ruth, a lowborn bare-knuckle pugilist sponsored by Dryer. Ruth slugs it out with men and women in the ring, and, shockingly, teaches Charlotte to throw a strong punch. Hardingham, Eyre, and West join forces to enthral, repel, and horrify listeners. M.B.K. © AudioFile 2015, Portland, Maine [Published: MAY 2015]"

The summer before the War by helen simonson

*E.C. Winner of AudioFile Earphones Award

"Narrator Fiona Hardingham breathes life into a huge cast of characters--from the grieving, determined Miss Nash to a Romani schoolboy. She's especially adept with accents; the American author who is trying to downplay his heritage sounds appropriately ambiguous, and a Belgian refugee who speaks halting, heavily accented English is convincing. With subtle wit and barely suppressed emotion, Hardingham chronicles Miss Nash's first year in Rye, which stretches from summer garden parties to England's entry into WWI. This is storytelling at its finest, with a narration to match." - Audiofile Magazine

MY (NOT SO) PERFECT LIFE BY SOPHIA KINSELLA

"Humor and humility are expertly conveyed in narrator Fiona Hardingham's portrayal of 26-year-old Katie Brenner, who is struggling to create the perfect facade for her not-so-perfect-life. Katie's downtrodden moments, which are quickly lifted by quirky optimism, are recounted with a light and amusing perkiness that contrasts with the smooth, articulate elegance of Katie's snooty boss, Demeter Farlowe. Hardingham's quick pace and occasional faltering emphasize Katie's entertaining attempts to present herself as refined and successful in the eyes of her family and peers. Hardingham's compelling portrayals of both Katie and Demeter illuminates Demeter's authentic self and Katie's realization that her own life is just perfect.
